Privacy policy

We collect as little as we can.

What we collect

  • Analytics: when a page loads, we record the page address, the website that referred you (domain only), your approximate state and city as estimated by our hosting provider from your connection, and your device type (mobile, desktop, or tablet). We do not store IP addresses, set cookies, or fingerprint your browser. If enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics (also cookieless) records similar aggregate data.
  • Your state: to show casinos that are legal where you are, our server reads your approximate location from your connection and uses it to filter offers and to block referrals where a casino is not allowed. The only place it is stored is the analytics described above (approximate state and city, never your IP address). If you choose a state yourself, that choice is saved in your own browser's local storage and is not sent to us.
  • Outbound clicks: when you click a casino link, we record the casino, the page you came from, the time, your approximate state and city, and your device type (not your IP address). We use this to measure which pages are useful, and to keep a record that we did not refer visitors in places where a casino is not allowed.
  • Email: if you subscribe, we store your email address, signup date, and approximate state. You can unsubscribe from any email or ask us to delete it.
  • Privacy requests: when you make a request, we keep a record of it (your email address, the request, and what we did) for 24 months, as privacy law requires. To stop abuse of the request form, we also keep a one-way code derived from your connection, which changes daily and is deleted within 24 hours; it cannot be turned back into your IP address.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.
  • We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21.

Casinos

When you leave our site for a casino, its own privacy policy applies. Affiliate links may pass a reference code so the casino can credit us; it does not identify you personally to us.

Your rights

You can see the data we hold about you, have it deleted, or opt out of its sale or sharing (we never sell or share it). Make a request online or email privacy@idealconclusions.com. We email a one-time link to confirm it's you, then carry out the request straight away. We answer every request within 45 days, usually within minutes, and keep a record of it for 24 months as privacy law requires.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. We honor them for all users.
